Healthcare

Service to Man is Service to God

VKA has a Village Health Worker (VHW) Scheme wherein VHW provides medical first aid to villagers where the doctors are not immediately available. Village Health Worker (VHW) is a health care facilitator in the village. He is instrumental in providing basic health education to the villagers. He also takes initiative to conduct medical camps in remote villages and assists villagers for follow up treatment. Doctor fraternity normally practicing in urban areas offers their services in Medical camps organized by VKA with exceptional devotion. They not only conduct camps but help for further treatment too. Many surgeons voluntarily conduct operative camps in rural areas to cure the sufferings such as Cataract, Hernia & Hydrocele. Operations are being conducted in these camps. First time in the history of Jashpur in November 2019, plastic surgery has been conducted.
